First Amigurumi My Little Pony

Good Morning everyone,

I hope you all had a nice weekend. We made yet another trip to Vancouver Island for a family birthday for my granddaughter. It was good to see everyone. In addition to the My Little Pony hat I showed you in an earlier post. Today I have the stuffy I made to match it.

The pattern is a free pattern that came from Knit One Awesome by Ceefax. It comes in a standard size, like I made and also a school-age pony size, which is a bit smaller. You can also make a unicorn with it or a pony with wings. There are several different hair styles as well. Below is a photo of my granddaughter wearing it. Unfortunately it just barely fits, so her mom is going to add a couple of rows to the bottom.

My son looks impressed, doesn't he? Lol.

I made her a card from a cut file I bought off Facebook from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs. All her cut files are a dollar each, and they are adorable. Just click on the Shop bar near the top of the page to see them all.

What I like about these is that they come in several formats. As fate would have it, I had quite a bit of trouble getting my Black Cat Lynx Cutter working, so I had to cut everything out by hand. This is where the SVG files came in so handy. I didn't have to trace anything over, I just had to cut the pieces out of cardstock once I'd printed them off.

I left the card fairly simple because you get so much in these files. I had to put the balloons on the inside of the card.

I covered up our wishes to her because it was personal. The file came with the paper strings, but I opted to use yarn.

My cutter still isn't working properly with SCAL, but hopefully we can figure it out this weekend.

Well, that's all for today!
Blessings,
Carmen
