About Me

Great to see you here!

This little spot of the web is a place where I share a little bit of myself with you!

I'm a creative who loves to learn new things. I incorporate drawing, doodling and painting into my cards and papercrafts (You will find tons of handmade cards here). This led me to making up digital stamps, which are sprinkled throughout my blog and are now all free. Sewing and crocheting are also loves of mine. I have crocheted for many years and have sewn professionally for a company that created european style children's clothing. It was called Rainbowear.

These last few years I have taken up painting. I started palette knife painting in oils, that led to working with acrylics, then watercolors, and eventually to embellished paintings. I love playing with all of these.

Now I’m looking at an old love, embroidery, but in different styles. Plus I’m into  herbs, oils and salves, which is a learning journey. You know what they say - - if you don’t use it, you lose it. So learning is good!

In conclusion, you can find my Free digital stamps listed in the sidebar under Labels. Almost everything on this blog is handcrafted by me unless I’m featuring someone else’s talent.

Oh, and there’s a couple of free ‘freezie holder’ crochet patterns for your kids in the sidebar too.

I hope you enjoy your visit!

What are people saying about Beyond the Fringe Crafts?

Peach Lee ~ a bottomless treasure trove of free digi stamps & vintage graphics. Carmen includes all types of themes & sentiments in high-quality digi form. A favorite of mine is the Stack of Coffee Cups or the Lava Lamps with a separate Lava Love sentiment. Lots of fun going on here!

Lakefront Stamping Creations see which BTFC free digi she uses for her retirement cards!

Steph from Creative Chaos: This adorable little Christmas elf is a freebie over on Beyond the Fringe Crafts. Carmen always has wonderful freebies and right now she’s got a ton of fabulous holiday ideas posted as well.  the Fringe Craft

Today's images come from Beyond the Fringe and the digi stamps created by Carmen. Carmen is very talented. Not just digis, but drawing, sewing, knitting, painting, more. Do have a peak at her blog. Carmen is one of my top 3 artists that I use when making cards. And she, herself, is so sweet and a good person.
