Layers of Friendship Card

My husband and I have been away so I was expecting to quickly put something together for you. However, when I got home I was pleased to discover that Amanda had been playing with some paper!!

Here is her latest creation:

Note her use of layers and colors, running the stripes both vertically and horizontally! Instead of inking her edges, she embossed them with black embossing powder. She also embossed her sentiment. Here's a close up of the embossing and the many rich layers.

This next close up is of the felt flowers and ribbon on the front. Loving the bling!

A photo of the inside. I love the textured look of this paper!

She has edge embossed the paper and used staggered layering on the bottom right. Very effective! I really liked the bling on the front and inside as well, and her choice of ribbon really added to the look of the card!

I thought this was a beautiful card, and I think whoever receives it will love it too!

Thanks Amanda, for sharing your card with us!

And, thank you all for visiting! =D

  1. Great card, Amanda!!! Love the idea of embossing the edges rather than just inking them as I usually do. Will have to try that ...
