Tag Fun

Hi there!

I have to confess that I am a fair weather scrapbooker. Oh, I love the look of a finished page...but the journey? Well, let's just say it's painstaking. I just can't make up my mind...this paper, or that paper?
Ooooh, look at this one,
and this one...
or maybe this one....sigh. Decisions, decisions.
It's hair raising.

I'm sorry to also confess that if I'm not in the mood...it ain't happening.
That's right...I'm an emo scrapbooker.
'Nuff said.

However, give me something random to play with, and I am the happiest little girl you'll ever find. The moral of this story? I really just wanna play!

So lately I've been having some tag fun. Do I have a project to put them on? Well...no...not yet...maybe someday. In the meantime, I'll just look at them and smile. Does that make me a bit unique? Well....yes...probably...but I'm the only one here right now, so no one has witnessed this weirdness.

Anyway, here are my latest efforts.

A tag, a page of an old worn out book, a flourish and some flowers...and mama's happy.

Oh, also some UTEE, brads, ink, and metallic rubon.

Here's the big tag:

Actually, the second one also had a stamp, ribbon and a chipboard key.

Here's a photo of the supplies I used.
I had to take this photo three different times because I kept forgetting things. Tsh tsh!

All in all, a lot of fun was had by...me.

OH! You see the book in the background??? THAT is a sneak peek of the mini album I made! I'm going to be giving it away as Blog Candy. Anyone who becomes a follower from when I started this blog to October 30th will have a chance to win it!  Photos forthcoming in a couple of weeks!
SO PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD TO ALL YOUR FRIENDS!

Now if I could only get a page done..

Maybe next time!

  1. I think you could leave your tags sitting on that gorgeous dark wood and you would have a most interesting table decoration....until you finish a page a need one of these gems, anyway.

    Lovely!

  5. I LOVE the tags you made, I have some pages that they could be used on ;) It was great meeting you this past summer even though the circumstances for you were less than fun. Thanks so much for sending me the link to your blog Carmen :)
