Penny Farthing Masculine Card, Free Digi

I've been doing all kinds of crafts lately and that makes me happy! However, I have some birthdays coming up and I want to get started on Christmas cards soon.

Do any of you make your own cards for Christmas? Do you make them all the same or do different ones for everyone?

I did get this card done for my husband. I made the background while watching TV last night. Just cut the pieces up and glued them on.

What do you think?

Other than making up the background, I used the Craftsman 6x6 paper pad from Alpha Stamps behind the bike and the background. The penny farthing is a digital stamp I made up some time ago. Add a few brads and it's done!

Hope you are all having a good summer. The temps here are down to 30C, which is much more bearable, although still hot. I'm not complaining too loudly though...soon enough it'll be 30 below!

Blessings,
Carmen

  2. Yes, I do make my own XMas cards. They are usually CAS, but with a technique (i.e. one year it was teabag folded wreaths, another it was die cut trees, yet another it was spirellied poinsettias) . . . about 40 of them! Good luck with your own XMas creations and enjoy the weather (it was 94 degrees here yesterday!)

    1. Thanks! Wow, that's a lot of cards! I'm looking forward to making them this year. We've just come through a heat wave...one day it was over 40C on my balcony (about 110+...crazy hot!!). My poor little portable air conditioner just couldn't keep up!

  3. Nice card Darmen. I like the mosaic background.
And about cards for Christmas. I have already started making them for this year. I make different cards for everyone, that makes it more fun to make them.

    Best wishes, Wies
