Free Digital Stamps, African Woman and Frame

I just realized its been a while since I posted! Life has been busy and when it has been quiet, I've been doing a lot of soul searching. It's funny how some things can really affect your view on life. I try to be upbeat about how I look now, but sometimes it's hard. People see me as a strong capable person, but I wouldn't be that person if it weren't for the fact that I lean on Someone who is stronger than I and loves me in spite of my many flaws and shortcomings. I'm so thankful that Jesus loves me and that He is all I need.

I have a few cards to make and have been procrastinating on them. I love creating, but I don't have a dedicated space...so it involves a lot of up and down the stairs, and a lot of clean up afterwards!! I tend to leave things out for a week at a time, but I don't like having a messy table. Lol...I'm my own worst enemy!! ;) Seriously though - I do have to get on it soon.

In the meantime I do have an image for you that I made a while back. It's a fairly simplistic sketch, but you can play with the colors of the dress and add detail. Sometimes that's nice too.

 Here's the frame alone:
And this is a full picture of the African woman:
I'm not sure why, but FDS hasn't posted my images lately. I've emailed them a couple of times, but there's no response or explanation. So I'm thinking it's just a glitch! :) I'm truly thankful for what they have posted thus far, because there's certainly no obligation on their part to do so!

A big heartfelt THANK YOU to FDS for what they have posted!! I truly do appreciate it!

If you like my work and don't want to miss any free images and sentiments, please follow!

Thanks for visiting - and I'll get some cards up here soon! Promise!!

Have a great week!!
Carmen

  1. Hi Carmen, happy to hear you are getting back into crafting. I know what you mean about "not having a dedicated space". I used to do all my crafting at the kitchen table and would have to stop at dinner time, clean up, then bring it all back out again. Hopefully you will get "your won space" soon so that you can craft til your hearts content!
    :O)

  2. omg I have the same problem, or at least until I can find a way to clean up the space I want to dedicate to crafting. I hate having to haul everything and forgetting something, then having to find it. I am behind on a baby card (he is over a month old now)

  6. Same here, no place to craft much either. I have half a small circular table I share with my daughter and after 20 minutes it's competely covered and I can't find a thing! I love your drawing/image. I can think of so many beautiful things you could do to adorn her headress and gown--it's lovely. Thanks for stopping by earlier, and I'm happy to have discovered your wonderful blog.
