Hello!

I haven't posted in a while, but I have been going around and checking out some of your blogs. I've also been looking into digital stamps and wondering if I can make my own. I found a few video tutorials that I've been watching. So far it looks simple, but like anything, there's a learning curve!

Anyway, I did manage to put together a little card today. I've noticed that a few people use Kraft Cardstock to make cards and I really like the results. So I picked me up some of that and started playing. Here's my card:

I just love these little hedgehogs and thought the sentiment fit the picture. This is a FREE digital stamp that I got from Sliekjes Digi Stamps. Sliekje has the cutest digital stamps on her site, and they're all free. Just click on the link I've provided to see them all.

I did a couple of layers with the stamp to give it some depth. The grass was handcut and I got the ribbon at Fabricland. The background stamp is the Hero Arts Clings Stamp "Friend Definition." The sentiment I used is an Our Daily Bread Designs stamp from Scripture Collection 2. The ink is Tim Holtz Distress ink, Vintage Photo. Here's a bit of a close up on the fussycutting I did on the Hedgehogs.

I have to apologize for the quality of the photos. My home is almost always a bit subdued, especially this time of year. I'm going to have to figure out how to rectify this!

Thanks for visiting!

Carmen
