Lillooet Craft Fair 2010

I just got back from my first Craft Fair this year. It took place in Lillooet, B.C. where my parents live. It was so well done and I had so much fun there. I met some people that I went to school with and lots of other new people. Small town people are usually so friendly!

I love kids, and so I put out some candy for them. I love it when they come back, grab another candy while looking to see if you're going to say anything...then smile and quickly turn away. Ah to be a child again!! =D

Anyway, here are some photos of my table.

I was rushed for time and didn't get a chance to make up proper table signs, so I quickly wrote some place cards up and they worked okay. In the far back are some of my lighted glass blocks. These just flew off the table. Sometimes they would sell as I plugged them in. In front of them are my large and small felted soaps, or "soap in sheeps' clothing!" :)

In the front are my Lavender Salt Scrubs and Ginger and Cinnamon Salt Scrubs. Behind them are my Christmas Candy Soaps and Soap Stacks. Behind them I had some Prehistoric Sharks Tooth Necklaces. I told my husband I'd take them and sell them for him.

Here's a variety of my soaps. This included Hempseed Oil Soap (Anisette), Beer Soap (Chocolate, and Mulled Cider), Coconut Milk Soap, Lavender Soap, Oatmeal Soap, and Dead Sea Mud Bar.

Something for the kids...Chwistmas Quackers! The kids loved these!! In the front are a few Solid Sugar Scrubs I made. You take one, get it wet and smush it up in your hand, then you exfoliate and moisturize! Wonderful!!

I absolutely LOVE these! My Massage Candles come in Dark Rich Chocolate, Champagne Pear, Sensual Amber, Sore Muscle, Apricot Freesia and In the Buff (unscented). These are made with Natural Soy Wax, luscious oils and skin safe fragrance. You light the candle and wait for the wax and oils to pool. Then you blow out the candle and massage it into your hands, body, rough spots...soooo nice!

Here' another Chwistmas Quacker, edible candies, solid sugar scrubs, and my business cards. I decided to go with Kit N Kaboodle as my company name.

Okay...these were overkill. Part way through the fair I cut the cellophane down so you could actually SEE the Bath Bomb Cupcakes! These bubble and fizz, and I had them in large and small sizes. They came in Satsuma, Champagne Pear, Amaretto Eggnog, Chocolate, Black Raspberry Vanilla, and Bubblegum. These also sold well.

And here I am, smiling away! It was a good day!! Oh...did you notice the Kit N Kaboodle sign behind me? I thought it looked okay considering I threw it together in the last 24 hrs!!

I had such a great time! And if that wasn't enough, I bought 3 raffle tickets, and won 2 prizes!! Oh yes I did!

The first was a gorgeous necklace with matching earrings from Creations by Jan, a local Lillooet Craftsman. I'm not sure what the value was, but they were made of handblown glass beads, and really, really nice!

The second were full size shampoo & conditioners from Matrix Essentials Sleek Look, and full size shampoo & conditioners from American Crew Classic. Both sets smell Uh-MAzing! This prize had a value of $119.00.

Not a bad return on 5 bucks! No wonder I'm smiling!!

If you're local, I'll be at the Countdown to Christmas Craft Fair at St. Andrews on the Square on Saturday December 4th. See you there!

Well, that's it for today! Thanks so much for visiting and have a wonderful weekend!!
