More Kids Cards

Lately, Amanda and I have been working on Cards For Kids. It's been a bit of a madhouse around here, and so I have been fitting in some card making whenever I can. (I'm having about 5 more people lodging with us this week alone).

These cards are supposed to be simple and lightweight, as they are going to kids in Children's Hospital that are 3 to 10 years of age. So they are not my usual style, although I am enjoying making them!

The jar stamp is from Stampin' Ups "All Wrapped Up" retired stamp set. I think this is a great set for kids cards!

These adorable papers are Jillibean's "New England Chowder." I cut out the vehicles from one of the papers, added double sided tape and put them in a small ziploc bag. The lined paper and one of these bags will be included in each card so that they can play with them.

What kind of jelly gets run over by cars??  .........Traffic Jam!

Next I'll be working on some more simple cards for the Ridgeview Residents. It's hard for them to do anything complicated. It's a western theme this time...should be fun anyway!

I'm really wanting to get onto some cards that reflect my style, and there are some techniques I want to try out. Hopefully I get some time just to play soon!

Thank you for visiting! I enjoy your comments!!

  3. Thanks for your kind comments, Carmen!
To "heart" a shop, scroll down the right hand side of shop and look for heading called "Favorites," click "Add seller to favorites" that means you heart a shop. You can also "heart" an item (right above add seller to favorites). I would love to have an extra heart in my shops!
