Wanna see what I'm up to?

Every once in a while the mojo hits...

Only it doesn't involve paper. Here's some sneak previews:

Looking pretty earthy isn't it, with all that lemongrass on top. Call me crazy...but I like it! This one did give me a bit of a scare though. You see, the green tea turned a dark chocolate brown...not what I was expecting. So there was no point in adding any color. I thought it would lighten up when I added it to the oils, but it didn't lighten up as much as I'd hoped. It's a learning curve...what can I say?

Okay, so it's possible I got a little carried away with the color here. I'm really curious to see how this one turns out because the colored batches set up really fast and instead of pouring in the main batch, they just kind of globbed in. Then the stirring kind of went a little mad and, well....we'll see what happens when I uncover this one.

In the meantime......

I've wrapped them up in a colorful blankie and put them to bed. Maybe they'll look a little better in the morning.

  1. Is this soap? I can't imagine what else it would be! Ah hah! I see your label above my comment box says "SOAP". I'm excited to see how it turns out too!
