Anniversary Card

My little sister and brother in law are celebrating another anniversary! Is it just me, or does time seem to be flying by faster and faster?

They live up in Quesnel, B.C., which I consider the frozen north. They love it up there! It really is lovely country! It's not uncommon for her to have wildlife on her property. She gathers wild blueberries and makes pies out of them. Yummmmm!!

Anyway, I'm getting off track here...I made them a card for their anniversary:

I used Prima packaging and added lace, flowers, and leaves. The frame is one of the new Pink Paisley frames I recently picked up in Kelowna. I used some pearls and some stickles on the flowers, the frame, and the lace.

Note the mini beaded pin. This is removeable so that she can use it on one of her pages if she wants. She's an avid scrapbooker too! I only wish we weren't so far apart...it would be fun to get together even for one day a week to play! Good thing I have a DIL that scrapbooks and lives a little closer! :)

Here's a photo of the lace bow which I've just attached to the opening at the top of the packaging. I also traced around the packaging with some white cardstock before taping it to the card base.

I just want to take a moment and wish a very Happy Anniversary to my li'l sister Izzy and her huggy bear Vern!! We love you!! Here's a photo of the happy couple...

Thanks for visiting!

  1. The card is just lovely!! I really like the pin as well as the frame. My sisters live close to one another and get together often to scrapbook and make cards. I live too far from them. They do have a great time.

Wishing your sis and BIL a Happy Anniversary!

    xoxo
