The Gentle Waltz

I love music, all kinds of music! My training is in classical guitar, and so I thought it would be fun to frame a piece of music that I can play. So here is what I did.

First I bought a frame and picked out a piece of music and this laser cut paper. Then I cut the music paper to size with my handy dandy paper trimmer:

Next, I laid out the laser printed paper in a way that was pleasing to my eye:

I moved it around one way...then another...then another way. I framed it, took it out, cut some more. Framed it again...

Until it looked like this. Then I took a close up photo and realized.....I'm going to have to remove it from the frame once more. There are some pencilled in circles that need to be erased. LOL! That's okay, I can live with that, and I'm quite please with how it turned out. What do you think?

  3. For as many marks as I make on my bell music, I think it all goes to help you remember how special it was--the process of learning and the joy in presentation.

    Neat thought....
