I love September! It's my favorite month of the year! The weather is great; the leaves eventually start to turn beautiful colors; life is back to normal and we get to look forward to Thanksgiving and Christmas. It's a wonderful time of year!
I'm breathing a sign of relief. My summer was crazy!
But, you're not here to hear me go on....you'd probably like to see something.

Well, I agreed to decorate a couple of the Stateline Premium Muslin Bags you've been seeing here and there. I'm a bit late because of circumstances beyond my control, but here is my take on them! :)
This bag was painted black with fabric paint. Then I added metal foil art. It's a games bag...perfect size for a deck of cards and some dice, or whatever.
The main stamp is from CTMH. The beads are some Pandora style beads we have around.
The company, who so generously provided the bags is called Stateline Bag Company. These really are good quality muslin, and easy to work with!
If you'd like to see some of the other decorated bag ideas (and there's so much you can do with these!!!), then check out the Stateline Facebook Page as well!
They can also be found on Twitter, and on Pinterest!
If you'd be interested in some of these bags, they've given me some for a giveaway as well. Here's what I'd like you to do:
Go 'like' their FB page and let me know you've done that in a comment below, and you'll have a chance to win 25 of these bags in a few different sizes, to play with. Also, please let them know you came from Beyond the Fringe Crafts. I'll pick a name out of a hat next Thursday the 19th...hope you don't mind trusting me.
Thanks and have a good day!
Carmen
I used Tim Holtz Fragments and some beadware for the end of the silver stretch cord I added.
I really wanted to try a mixed media feel to one of the bags. I used fabric paint again along with some stamps and markers to get this look.
The flowers are $1 Store fabric flowers which I also painted and glued together with buttons and beads.
