More Metal Foil Art

My sister and I are always into the same things, even though we live many miles away from each other. We place comments on each others FB profile at exactly the same time; have exactly the same dinner cooking on the stove on the same day; do similar craft projects without the other knowing. It's a bit weird, but almost normal to us now.

She recently took a metal arts class where she lives and made some beautiful projects. I'll show you them in a minute.

As you know, I've also been playing with some metal art. I made a card for my nephew, then an industrial metal frame. Today I made another metal art frame.

This time I used Inka Gold instead of metallic rub-ons, and to be honest, I much prefer the Inka Gold! The effect is so incredibly beautiful!

While my industrial metal frame is definitely masculine, this one is more feminine.

I love it, and unfortunately the picture doesn't do it justice. It's way more striking in real life.
The embellishments aren't actually attached yet...not sure where I want them yet.

Here are a couple of projects my sister did in a Metal Arts Class in Quesnel, taught by
Wanda from My Scraproom.
She sells supplies from her home in Quesnel, and offers some awesome classes and retreats.
Note the zipper flowers, and the detail on the bottom of the photo..
The next one is my favorite of the two, and my sisters favorite too.
I love the Inka Gold on there...sooo beautiful!! Here's some detail...
The flowers are cute, but I just love the 3D effect this dragonfly brings to the whole project!

Don't know what Inka Gold is? It's a metallic paste that comes in 11 colors, 100 gr each, and soon it will be available in 50 gr. containers as well. It goes on your project and then gets buffed to a beautiful colorful metallic shine.
I know this sounds like a commercial, but it isn't...I just like the stuff!

If you're in Kamloops, get them at Memory Junction on St. Paul Way. You can also 'like' the Memory Junction page on Facebook.

Well, that's all for today. I love working with this metal art!
So many possibilities!

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. Matthew 5:16
