Digi Stamp Matryoshka Dolls

Hey there!

Well, I'm back from a short holiday. We went up to Williams Lake to see my brother, niece and nephew, and then to Quesnel to see my sister, brother-in-law and nephew. We had a wonderful time, but are happy to be home and looking forward to sleeping in our own beds!

On our journey, I stopped in at 'Creative Accents' in Williams Lake, and 'My Scraproom' in Quesnel. The latter is a home based business. I really enjoyed our visit with her and I picked up some fun stuff to play with! :) Wanda, the owner does Scrapbook retreats, and is the one whom my sister learned her metal foil art from. Check out my sidebar under labels for "metal art" if you'd like to see what I'm talking about.

I just got home so I don't have a photo for you, but you'll see some of the items I picked up in the techniques I'll be using in another post. For today I have a couple of digi stamps to complete the Matryoshka Dolls theme from the last post.

This last set are a bunch of farmers...all except the last one. She just wants to eat!

Would you believe I didn't take one photo of anyone or anything the whole time we were gone...not one! And yes...I had my camera with me. Unbelievable!

Well, that's it for today.
Blessings!

Carmen

  1. Yay, more matryoshka dolls! I have fond memories of playing with these as a child. I'm amazed at the different creative painting that you can find on them these days...there are some really beautiful ones made. I have one set that I let my kids play with, and one that they'll never be allowed to touch...well, at least until they are older and more responsible!! Thanks for these wonderful images.

  3. Hi Carmen. Now that my book is finished I'm finding more opportunity to visit old favorites on the web that I've been missing. Love the look of your site! So much has changed since I was here. BTW, I am in love with the teacup mirror you posted a picture of on FB recently. MUST figure out how to get one of those for my own!

    1. Thanks Linda! My blog has gone through a bit of a transition over the last few years. I'm actually ready for another change, just not sure what that looks like right now. :)
