Le Romantique!

Happy Sunday!

I have another card for you today. This one is made with Graphic 45 papers from the 'Le Romantique' pad. I love their papers!

The process I used is fairly simple. There are 4 layers, plus the image which was raised with some pop dots. I used some dollar store bling, and a Cricut butterfly.

I love this ribbon, and I thought it worked with the dance theme. So I ruffled it with a thin strip of embellishment tape and then attached it. The beaded strip is a dollar store find. The stamped sentiment is from the Hero Arts set 'Everyday Sayings'

I actually love this set because it's so versatile. It includes:

"Just a note, you're the best, thinking of you (x3), I'm sorry, just saying hello, deepest sympathy, thank you, get well soon, happy anniversary (x2) you did it!, sending warm fuzzies, hello, congratulations, xoxo, sorry for your loss, thanks!, thank you for your friendship, sending you sunshine and laughter." Plus it has 3 tiny flowers.

I can't remember where I picked up these little roses, but they work well on cards. Note the ruffled distress edge; it's one of Gabrielle Pollaco's designs (Such a Pretty Mess).

I finished off the inside per usual, but didn't take a photo of it. You can see it a bit in the photo above. Note the little pink brad on the corner of the tag inside. Love it! I cut out some of the large roses paper from the Le Romantique paper pad to decorate the inside.

Well, that's it for today. I've decided I'm going to do up some cards ahead of time because I always seem to be doing them up last minute, and I'm not as creative when dealing with time pressures- even when they're self imposed!

I'll be making up some Ridgeview samples soon too. In the meantime, I have another masculine type card coming up in the next few days.

Until then, have a good Sunday!
Thanks for visiting. :)
