Little Book of Hope

We certainly live in unprecedented times. I talk to many people who are fed up, discouraged and depressed due to the virus and the political climate. Add to that the fact that we live in the Interior of BC where wildfires are ravaging our forests and our homes, and where thick smoke has been a daily experience prompting evacuation alerts and orders, plus road closures. We’ve had to weather heat of up to 50C (122F), and when we’ve had rain, it was accompanied by lightning, starting even more fires. Yes, people are stressed and worn out and need encouragement.

All this made me want to remind people that life is still good, God is still good and there is still hope. I tried a couple of different things but finally came up with a tiny little booklet you could throw in your purse, car, backpack. Whenever you find someone who needs encouragement, you can give it to them. They can drink in the hope and maybe pass it on when someone else needs it.

My only complaint is that I should have added more pages, but this will not be the last one I make, and there’s always room for improvement.

My Little Book of Hope! Take it in then give it away!

  4. What a precious book - it will be a blessing to all who receive it and then pass it on. I love your quotes and scripture, and the illustrations are gorgeous.
We are back in a full lockdown again - a bit of a shock after 12 months of almost normal conditions!
    Stay safe
