Christmas Advent Calendar Twinchies

Christmas is coming and with a new-ish grandson born in February, I set about to make an Advent Calendar like I did for his brother and sisters. Technically, these are twinchies, since they're about 2" square.  These are always a lot of fun to make, in my opinion.

My daughter in law, Julie, has also made a few of these and is now making a couple for her god-son and daughter. I'm sure they'll love them. Julie is very imaginative and when I can't come up with anything, I just steal her ideas. Lol...I mean, why not, she steals mine! It's all in the family!

A while back I showed you a couple of hats I made.  

I had one more to make and it's finished now. 

The pattern is by Simply Made, by Erin and is available on Ravelry for $5. Totally worth it. It's nice and warm. I used the Wool-Ease Thick and Quick Yarn by Lion Brand. 

This one is for my daughter in law up north. 

                                              

 I hope it fits her well. It's always hard to size properly when they're not here.
