Acetate Cards

Happy Thursday!

I've been making some cards lately.  I got the Father's Day cards done, then made these up for the Ridgeview Ladies. Actually, these are the prototypes of what we'll be making.
I made up two different ones... I'll probably do the flower card with the ladies.
Acetate cards are notoriously difficult to photograph, so I apologize for these, but it's the best I could do.
The inside of the flower card, the butterfly card just says 'thanks'.

Helpful Tip:
To find the middle of the circle to place the flower I just made another circle the same size, folded it twice to find the center, and then poked a hole in the center.
I placed it directly overtop the designer paper circle and poked through the same hole.

Here's what I used to make these:
Stampin' Up scallop punch (punch out 4 black scallop circles)
A tool for making small holes to put brads through the paper and acetate
Double sided tape
Silver mini brads - 2
Regular size brad - 1 for the flower only
Flower
Acetate Butterflies
$1 Store ribbon for the flower card
2 3/4" black circles - 4
2 1/2" white circle - 1
2 1/2" designer paper circle - 1
8 1/2 X 4 1/4" acetate scored at 4 1/4"
White Staz-on Ink
Black Staz-on Ink
Stamp sets:
Recollection - Going Places

Hero Arts - Anytime Messages

$1 Store Stamps

I think that's everything...

  2. The cards are wonderful. They are not the ordinary acetate craft that you see--Girl you know you are so creative. OOH! I think your Eiffel Tower/Shoe would look great on a square acetate card!! Can acetate be run through a printer?? I have tried that myself--but I stamp very little as well.
(I think I am just about caught up one your posts. So sorry to fall behind. I want to be more supportive. I do have may favorites that I try to keep up with. I smile every time you are in my email box!!)
