Hello!
I know...it's been almost a week! In all fairness, I've been very busy trying to get things working. First it was a problem with the Cricut cutter not cutting. It was working fine, and then suddenly it wouldn't cut. After checking on the Web and realizing this is a problem they seem to have sometimes, I got my hubby to look at it.
There is nothing this man cannot fix. Seriously!
Yes, he fixed it, and no, it wasn't something I was doing wrong. ;)
Then I downloaded SCAL and hooked it up to the Cricut. It worked, but only intermittently.
Tech savy son to the rescue! At first we thought it was a faulty USB cable, or some missing drivers, but it was another problem with the Cricut. This one took both my hubby and son to figure out, but it's finally working (fingers crossed), so I can get my cards made. I'll share them in a couple of days.
In the meantime I have something else for you...
It's hard to believe that Valentine's Day is only one month away! I thought I'd be on my toes this time and show you some of the creations that are already heating up on the Web so you'd actually have them in time to make for Valentine's Day.
Don't you just love this Felt Wreath from The Idea Room! It is a new take on the ruffled wreath from Design Sponge. The Idea Room has a tutorial on their blog for this cute wreath!
Disney Family.com has this cute little Mickey Mouse candy box for the kids! I think I'll run one of these off for my grandson. So cute!!
The printable can be found at the link below. You may have to copy and paste it into the address box on your browser.

Does someone you love light up your life? Crafts by Amanda featured these ADORABLE Burlap and Doily Luminaries for Valentine's Day that you can light up their life with!
You probably already have everything you need for these in your home, so go check out her tutorial!!
Decoupage is as old as the hills but can be a lot of fun and easy to do. This Valentine's Day Floral Cone by Shabby Rose Chic is a quick project that would look great anywhere in your home. She has used a metal cone but you could use any type of cone.
Sometimes I spend a little time looking around second hand shops but I can never seem to find anything too interesting. I would just love to find an old frame to clean and paint up. If you love old frames, here's an idea for something you can do with them!
There's actually two ideas here. The first is burlap with vinyl lettering on it (Give Thanks). The second is this Valentine's frame. Go visit Blooming Homestead for this Valentine 3-D Art.
I just ADORE this!
Seriously, I want to make all of these!
When I look around and see how talented all these people are, I just want to drool. It's a little too inspiring though...I just want to keep looking around for more, more MORE!! Then I don't have much time left to make them!
Anyway, I hope you enjoy these links and can enjoy making some of them. If you do I'd love to see them!
Check back in a day or two for another post. I'm making some Valentine's Love Notes and will be showing them here.
Thanks for visiting! I love hearing from you!
See you in a couple...
Carmen
